Nik Downing

The latest addition to horizon 22, Nik brings a vast amount of experience to the quartet. He moved here from Australia in 1999, where he toured extensively along the east coast from Cairns to Melbourne. Primarily based in Sydney, Nik played a wide range of music from rock to world folk with bands such as Freudian Trip, Good Buddah and Ioata, recording several albums along the way. Now stretching firmly into jazz and groove, Nik is a compelling performer who has taken horizon 22 to new heights
